The Wild Winds Benefit 2005

On July 20, 2005 an isolated storm system ripped through the Wildwood

community. On Wildwood Park District property alone over 200 trees were

downed or damaged. The cost of the cleanup (which was NOT covered by

insurance) ate up the entire ‘New Equipment Budget’ for 2005, over 10% of

the entire Wildwood Park District Operating Budget for 2005.

This Benefit is a response to the cost of that cleanup.
