Summer Sunday Pickups you must be 18 and older to participate.
Teams are creeated as a group between 10:45-11 am Warm ups and fun play before hand
Play should starts with teams around 11:15 am. If you show up after 11 am report to barender for which team to be added to.
Reserve a spot for Sunday Pickup Volleyball for 10:00 to 2:45. (Doors open at 9:45 am) Outdoor and Indoor guarantees a max of 48 participants.
Each session includes volleyball play and one drink, worth up to $7..
Your are welcome to use the outside courts with all day access from 9 am to midnight. 10 am to 3 pm you must have a wrist band.
Each session:
- Number of courts: All courts unless a private party occupies court #1
- Number of players: maximum of 48 total. If this fills up we have 6 total courts to allow up to 12 players per court.
- Number of teams: maximun 8 teams playing at one time, with no teams sitting out. (maximum of 8 teams)
- Number of players per team: standard of 6 players. (can be less 4 to 7 depending on number of players in
attendance to make an even number of teams) Bartender has a matrix on # of player and number of even teams - Format: fun pickups in a round-robin format. This is not a tournament. There are no awards or prizes, just a pat on the back.
- Bartender will assist with time table for setting up the teams.
Times:
- 10-10:45 am – arrive, check in with Lodge bartender, get your wristband and warm up
- 10:45-11:15am – get info from players and make teams
- 11:15am ish – call out teams and state reminders and Start first round of
games bartender will have schedule/bracket for rotation and courts assignments - 1:30pm ish – start second round
- 2pm – deadline for free drinks
- 2:45pm (Saturdays may be different) – close all tabs
- 2:50/2:55pm (Saturdays may be different) – off courts

Directions
- Check in with bartender when you get there.
- There are wristbands. All players need to check in with bartender or coordinator if one is prestent.
- If they bought more than 1 spot, find out the names and levels of all the people they
bought a ticket for. You can write the name on the sheet next to the buyers name. - If someone doesn’t show or there is an extra spot email sean@jesseoaks.com. There is a waitlist.
- Making teams
a. 48 people = 8 teams. teams are mulitples of 6 players, then make even number of teams, depoending on registraiton size some team may have 7 players
b. Make a line up of all girls and all boys in an another.
c. Make even teams. Evenly spread out players – hitters, number of girls, lowest
level, etc.
d. Try to have people with at least one friend/family member for first round.
e. Make sure you dont stack your team 🙂 obviously
f. Second round
i. Make teams for second round during your last game of play… you may
have to sit out for the last set.
ii. Mix it up
iii. People may leave, so be sure to ask who is staying to play second round.
If so, you may need to go down to 4 teams. - Post rotation schedule. Bartender will have a sheet for rotation
- Call out teams by 11:15 for court assingment.
- Games
a. First round, do 2 games to 15.
b. For second round, look at time and number of teams to see if you need to play
one game to 18 or 21… usually that’s what I do because there is less than an
hour left.
i. each 15 point game takes 10-12 minutes; each 18-21 point game take

- Bartender has a spreadsheet for how many players make how many teams and the court schedule
