Mohawk Less Cancer Pay it Forward

August 24 @ 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm

This is the day we remember Kevin but it is also for his brothers and sisters risking their lives fighting fires and being exposed to carcinogens on a daily basis. Kevin’s message was to pay attention to your body’s warning signs, get screened, and always wear your personal protective equipment. He wanted Mohawk less Cancer to continue to help others, that was our promise to him and our continued mission.

Become a Hero by Helping One

Raising money to provide financial assistance to firefighters battling cancer/illness or a tragedy/crisis in their life.

Kevin Oldham 33, was a Waukegan Firefighter for ten years and was diagnosed in April of 2010 with stage IV inoperable pancreatic cancer. Kevin felt humbled and blessed by the support he and his family received. So, before he died, only a short eleven months later his wish was to help bless others struggling through illness or tragedy and inspire us all to live with faith and purpose no matter what our circumstance
